Comprehensive Speech & Language Evaluations
The first step of treatment is to understand each child's unique strengths and needs. To determine how to best support their communication, we offer full-scale evaluations before deciding on our next steps. Evaluations last 1-2 hours and may include:
- Standardized assessments of communication skills
- Parent interview
- Informal assessments and observations
Evaluations are thorough, family-centered, and designed to clearly identify areas of strength, challenges, and next steps. Based on the results of the evaluation, specific therapy intervention may be recommended.
Speech Sound Disorders Therapy
We treat disorders of speech that affect a child's intelligibility, such as:
- articulation disorders and difficulty pronouncing specific sounds
- phonological disorders and errored sound patterns
- Childhood Apraxia of Speech
Language Therapy
